The graduate students of the University of New Brunswick will be conducting their first History graduate conference on October 1, 1999 at the Fredericton campus of the university. As this is their first conference, the papers being presented for the most part are written by UNB graduate students with internal and external commentators. General themes include Atlantic Canadian History, Foreign Policy, Native History and Sports History. Spectators are welcome and desired especially those outside the academic community. For more details contact the Conference secretary, Brad Shoebottom (tel.: 506-455-9023; e-mail: bshubotm@nbnet.nb.ca).
