CONFERENCES & WORKSHOPS OF REGIONAL INTEREST

NEW ENGLAND HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION: FALL MEETING
The Fall Meeting of the NEHA will be held October 16, 1999 at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. The program committee welcomes proposals on any subject, period, or geographical area from scholars within or outside the New England region. Like our own Association, the NEHA does not focus on the history of the region (in this case New England) but is equally concerned with European or Third World history. Complete session proposals as well as single papers are welcome.

Proposals with brief vita were to have been submitted by July 1, 1999 to Professor Joanne Schneider, History Department, Rhode Island College, 600 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, RI, 02908. For additional information contact James P. Hanlan, Executive Secretary, NEHA, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA, 01609-2280 (tel.: 508-831-5438; e-mail: jphanlan@wpi.wpi.edu).
