Registration

 

The registration for MACAS are now open and can be accessed from here.

 

1)        The registration will start on the web site February 15th. The registration will be confirmed only when the fee is paid in full.

 

The early registration fee is 290$ (Canadian dollar) - should be paid by April, 1st

Later registration will be 350$ Cdn (after April, 1st);

 

The registration fee includes: the attendance of all sessions, the conference material, meals— Continental breakfast, coffee breaks, lunches for 2 days and 1 diner. It also includes cultural activities. The fee will include also a publication of a proceedings book by Information Age Publishing after the conference (1 exemplar will be sent to you at no additional cost). 

 

 An excursion at the Hopewell Rocks Park will be available on Friday afternoon at an extra fee for those who would like to participate (please, mention it when you register; the price will be set upon the number of participants).

 

2)        Please, be aware, that the conference fee DOES NOT include the accommodation and transportation (including travel costs). The Moncton airport is 5 km from downtown where many hotels are located. The hotels are within 3-5 km from the venue (University Campus). The taxi in Moncton is not expensive and very safe. We also have some spaces in dormitories on the Campus site. If you would like more details, click here .

 

3)        (To the foreign participants) Some visa requirements may be set up by Canadian government for your country. If it applies to you, please check up the visa issues with the Canadian embassy of your country.   The organizers are not responsible for any issue related to the obtaining and using the visa.
