Dr. Habib Hamam has graduated from the Technical Unversity of Munich (Germany) in 1992 and earned his Ph.D degree from the University of Rennes I in 1995.
His doctoral work has been carried out in France Telecom Graduate School of Brittany (ENSTB).
He was in charge of a research project with the French Research Center
for Telecommunications dealing with programmable fiber array optical interconnects (1995-1996).
He was in charge of a franco-canadian research project at Laval University (COPL). dealing with pattern recognition (1996-1997).
He was in charge of a research project at the University of Montréal in the area of Optometry.
He is currently an assosiate professor at the University of Moncton - Faculty of Engineering.
